Week beginning 6th July
Dear Year 3,
We hope this message finds you in best of your health and that you and your families are keeping safe.
Let’s begin this message by wishing a very happy birthday to Rio, Tyler and Malay in Monet class, Freddie in Fortnum and Maisie-Rose and Sophie in Picasso class. We hope your special day was/will be as marvellous as you!
We are hoping that you took some time to go through the amazing resources that we uploaded for you last week. As always, we can’t emphasise enough how important it is for you to keep revising your learning using the online resources that we set for you. Revising and practising your work regularly will improve your understanding.
We appreciate the hard work and dedication of those who have sent in amazing pieces of their home learning so far. If you have selected pieces of your home learning that you’re proud of and want to share, then please do send them in to our phase email (lowerks2@town-farm.surrey.sch.uk). Don’t forget to include your class and first name in the subject line of the email so that we know who the fantastic work belongs to!
Alternatively, our school’s bright red post box right outside the school is there for you to pop your home learning in should you wish to submit your work that way. We miss you so much and always look forward to reading your fabulous work and celebrating your efforts.
This week’s superb home-learning will keep you entertained, busy and active for hours – we promise! The fantastic English home-learning this week is something that we all love doing regardless of our age. Can you guess what that might be?
We will be practising our skills to write stories (YIPPEE!) with accurate grammar and punctuation. Well done if you got that right! Maths is also super fun with plenty of videos to support you practice ordering, adding and subtracting fractions. And last but not least, we are going to learn some wonderful facts about plants in our glorious IPC. We hope you enjoy all the lovely content and resources that we have set for you and look forward to receiving your fabulously dazzling work soon. Remember, it is crucial that you do some, if not all of your home-learning every day.
Lastly, we urge you to stay safe, be kind to one another and don’t forget to talk to your parent(s)/carer(s) if anything is worrying you. Alternatively, you are very welcome to send a message to our phase email and your teacher will get in touch to help and support you.
It goes without saying that we are all truly amazed by your resilience and high spirits during these extremely challenging times. We are ever so proud of your hard work and dedication to your learning and overall well-being. Well done for being such superstars and keep up the good work, year 3!
Sending our very warm wishes to you all,
Mrs Kaleem, Mrs Harris, Miss French, Mrs Dowse, Mrs Bitmead, Mr Kyle and Mrs Siddiqui
