Message to Darwin Class
Hello Darwin Class,
I know this must be a strange time for all of you, it's strange for me too. I'm sure you're missing seeing your friends and following the daily routines that you were all used to. All I ask of you is that you try to make the most of this time at home by being kind and patient with your families and trying your best with the home-learning.
School is rather quiet without you all and I understand how hard it must be to complete the tasks at home, however try to stay focused and positive by keeping busy and active. I'm extremely proud of your hard work so far - keep it up!
Use this time to try something different that you wouldn't usually choose, such as completing a jigsaw, playing a card game or writing a letter to someone you miss. Choose activities and projects which interest you the most and remember to have fun with your learning.
With no Darwin Class to teach, I'm keeping busy by planning activities, exercising every day, learning to cook and taking virtual tours of some wonderful places that I wouldn't usually have time to visit. I'm lucky enough to have regular video calls with my family and friends in Ireland which always brightens my day.
I'm looking forward to hearing about what you've been up to.
Stay safe and keep smiling!
Mr McMahon and Mrs Dredge
