Message for Hawking Class

Dear Hawking Class,

I hope that you are staying home, staying safe, healthy and protecting the NHS.  School is important but so is your health. Take care of yourselves and each other (from a safe distance of course).

In these unusual circumstances, many of you have been working hard on the activities we have set – well done!  This is important, but it is also important that you try to limit your screen time and use this time to learn life skills that you would not usually learn in school.

Take advantage of this, as there are many creative and imaginative things you could do at home.  You could try cooking and baking, reading a variety of books, learning a new skill or being creative with arts and crafts using a range of materials you find at home.

Remember this will all soon pass and you will be able to continue as normal. I hope that you are all keeping safe.

No matter what happens this year, be proud of yourselves, your resilience and your ability to adapt to extreme circumstances.

Mr Belfrage, Miss Baker and Mrs Latimer
